MOSCOW, February 19. /TASS/. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military fired four shells at communities in Russia’s Belgorod Region bordering Ukraine and carried out a kamikaze drone attack over the past day, Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel on Monday.

"In the Belgorodsky district, the Ukrainian military fired three artillery shells at the Nekhoteyevka automobile border checkpoint and one shell at the village of Zhuravlyovka on February 18. Also, the Ukrainian military attacked the village of Zhuravlyovka with a kamikaze drone. After Russian air defense systems repulsed the Ukrainian aerial attack, destruction was found in the Belovsky rural settlement and a car was damaged," the governor said.

In the Volokonovsky district, Russian army engineers found and defused a Ukrainian drone in the village of Kozlovka, with no damage or casualties reported, Gladkov said.

In the Valuisky urban district, a Russian army engineer group spotted and destroyed an explosive device in the village of Soloti, with no damage or casualties reported, the regional governor said.
