MOSCOW, December 22. /TASS/. UNESCO officials have still failed to say anything about Ukraine’s attempted drone attacks on the Moscow Kremlin on May 3, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

"We waited in vain for a condemnation of terrorist attacks on the Moscow Kremlin, a World Heritage site. We also waited in vain for [UNESCO] Director General Audrey Azoulay, a French national, to condemn the killings of Russian media workers, even though this falls directly under UNESCO’s mandate," Lavrov pointed out at a general meeting of Russia’s Commission for UNESCO.

Ukraine tried to attack Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Kremlin residence with two unmanned aerial vehicles in the early hours of May 3, the Russian presidential press service reported. The Russian military and intelligence services promptly disabled the two drones. The Kremlin regarded the incident as a premeditated terrorist attack and an assassination attempt on the head of state.
