MOSCOW, January 27. /TASS/. All the talk about resetting relations between Russia and the United States isn’t rooted in reality, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.

"Conditions haven’t been created yet to reset [relations]," Peskov said, adding that there was no need to use the word ‘resetting'.

According to him, although the parties have reached an understanding on the need to extend the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START), "there is no reason to talk about resetting relations at the moment."

"It’s enough that the presidents took note of a rather large number of serious disagreements and emphasized the need to maintain dialogue," Peskov said. He added that there were a lot of stumbling blocks on the road but refrained from going into detail.
