MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov told reporters.

"The forum kicks off tomorrow, on October 27. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin will take part in it," Ushakov said.

The GECF members are Russia, Algeria, Venezuela, Egypt, Iran, Qatar, Libya, Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago, Equatorial Guinea and the United Arab Emirates. Eight observer countries are Angola, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Malaysia, Mauritania, Mozambique, Peru, and Senegal.
