MOSCOW, July 27. /TASS/. The MOEX Index rose above 2,200 points during the main trading session for the first time since July 13, 2026, according to trading data.

As of 1:15 p.m. Moscow time (10:15 a.m. GMT), the MOEX was up by 1.67% at 2,201.67 points. By 1:24 p.m. Moscow time (10:24 a.m. GMT), the MOEX Index had extended gains to 1.84% as it traded at 2,205.32 points, while the RTS Index was up by 1.84% at 890.31 points.

Earlier, on Saturday, July 25, the MOEX Index also exceeded 2,200 points during the additional weekend trading session for the first time since July 13.
