MOSCOW, November 14. /TASS/. A radar system for detecting and jamming unmanned aerial devices (UAVs) has been installed at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport, according to its materials on the provision of complex security measures.
The latest measure is aimed at "ensuring a high level of flight security," the airport said.
The ENOT-SD system will use software from Kaspersky Lab. with artificial intelligence which will identify between a bird, an UAV, an aircraft, a human or a car. This will enable the aircraft to jam drones only, without affecting the operation of aircraft, the airport said. Also, UAVs flying under radio silence can be detected, it added.
