NIZHNY NOVGOROD, May 17. /TASS/. Moscow, in the face of emerging risks and problems, can find opportunities to turn to the East and make a pivotal turn towards the region’s promising markets, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko announced on Tuesday.
"Despite the emerging risks and problems, we also have opportunities, [including] the opportunity to turn to the East and make a radical turn towards promising markets," he said.
Rudenko stressed that Russia "has great chances for cooperation with China". "Creating joint projects, participating in mutually beneficial processes - it appears to me that you must get some profit from any challenge. And I believe this is the direction we will take," Rudenko concluded.
