MOSCOW, August 7. /TASS/. Russia’s Kalashnikov Group has begun signing contracts for next year with Russian and foreign customers, the company told reporters.
"The Kalashnikov Group has begun signing contracts for next year with Russian government and agency-level customers, as well as foreign customers. The product range that has attracted buyers includes modern combat automatic and sniper small arms, high-precision anti-aircraft guided missiles, guided munitions and guided loitering munitions, as well as popular smoothbore hunting shotguns and rifled carbines," the company said in a statement.
Kalashnikov noted that maintaining a large volume of orders for 2027 was achieved through the development of the hand-held combat weapons product line – including models compatible with foreign-manufactured ammunition – as well as detection and engagement systems, and through the development of advanced combat gear for military personnel.
"The level and volume of contracts being signed demonstrate that Kalashnikov is the leader in its segment, and the experience of combat use of our products in the special military operation zone helps us refine them to perfection. I am confident that the company is assured of stable work for years to come, and we, in turn, will take all necessary measures to ensure the strict fulfillment of government orders," Kalashnikov CEO Alan Lushnikov said.
