Russian forces repel Ukraine’s attempted counterattacks in Krasnoarmeisk area

DONENTSK, December 15. /TASS/. Russian forces have repelled Ukraine’s attempted counterattacks near the settlement in Shevchenko in the vicinity of the city of Krasnoarmeisk in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), DPR’s head, Denis Pushilin, said.

"The Krasnoarmeisk area: we saw the enemy attempts to counterattack near the village of Shevchenko. Out forces reversed this situation and advanced much further than from where the enemy launched its counterattack. The enemy sustained losses," he said in a video address posted on his Telegram channel.

According to Pushilin, Russian forces continue their advance in this section of the combat engagement line. "Very serious support in this area comes from drone crews, helping to move toward Krasnoarmeisk," he added.
