Gunba has won 54.73% of votes in the second round of Abkhazia's presidential elections, while his opponent Adgur Ardzinba has won 41.54% of votes

SUKHUM, March 2. /TASS/. Badra Gunba has been elected President of Abkhazia in the second round of the elections, according to the preliminary results of the vote count, which were announced to journalists by Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic Dmitry Marshan.

"According to the results of the vote, Gunba Badra Zurabovich was elected," he said.

He added that Badra Gunba has won 54.73% of votes in the second round of Abkhazia's presidential elections, while his opponent Adgur Ardzinba has won 41.54% of votes.

"According to preliminary data, Adgur Ardzinba has received 41.54% of the votes, Bdra Gunba - 54.73% of the votes," Marshan said.
