Russia is sending Be-200 plane to Turkey to help with putting out fire at Iskenderun port

It’s planned that the amphibious plane is to help with extinguishing a powerful fire

MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS/. The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry is sending a Be-200 plane to an earthquake-stricken Turkey to help with putting out a fire at the Iskenderun port, the ministry told TASS on Tuesday.

"At the request of the Turkish side and by order of Emergency Situations Minister Alexander Kurenkov the ministry is sending a Be-200 plane to the Turkish Republic. It’s planned that the amphibious plane will be utilized to help with extinguishing a powerful fire that’s spreading across the port of Iskenderun," the ministry said.
