NEW YORK, June 6. /TASS/. Former US vice president Joseph Biden has won the sufficient number of delegates’ votes to be nominated as the Democratic presidential candidate in November, according to estimates by Associated Press and New York Times.

According to media reports, Biden has won the support of 1993 delegates, with the required minimum of 1991 votes.
