Pamela Anderson urges Russian women to give up real fur

The actress also called for the reduce of plastic consumption, the use of green energy and more serious attitude towards climate change

MOSCOW, December 16. /TASS/. Hollywood star and animal rights activist Pamela Anderson has called on Russian women to stop wearing real fur.

"My first project with PETA was against fur. I am wearing eco-fur actually around Russia. It’s been very warm and glamourous and I think it’s actually more glamorous and chic to consider the animals and the welfare of the planet," Anderson, an active member of the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), said at a TASS news conference.

"Dressing in real fur is kind of old-fashioned and boring," the actress said. "We have to dress consciously and think about of what we are eating."

She also called for the reduce of plastic consumption, the use of green energy and more serious attitude towards climate change.
