MOSCOW, June 25. /TASS/. Russia, China, South Africa, Brazil will all have judges on the jury of the 15th International Ballet Competition, which is currently underway in Moscow, Jury Chairperson, Director of the Moscow State Academy of Choreography and People's Artist of Russia Svetlana Zakharova told TASS.
"This year, the jury is back again. It includes 12 specialists from Russia, China, South Africa, Brazil, and other countries. These are directors of leading theaters and prominent figures in ballet," she said.
According to Zakharova, the competition remains one of the largest events in the world of choreography and has drawn huge interest from participants this year. Over 360 applications were submitted, and more than 150 performers from 30 countries made it into the competition program.
The 15th International Ballet Competition is taking place in Moscow from June 25. Held once every four years, it is considered one of the most prestigious global showcases in choreographic arts.
