Russian LNG accounts for 20% of European market — Putin

Russia has never refused to supply energy resources to Europe, underlinded Russian leader

MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) still accounts for a significant segment of the European market of around 20%, Russian President Vladimir Putin told Vesti reporter Pavel Zarubin.

Russia has never refused to supply energy resources to Europe, he noted.

"It is they who have opted out, and who continue to make plans to phase out what they still receive from Russia. And, incidentally, that is quite a significant amount! Our LNG accounts for 20% of the European market. That is a substantial market share," Putin stressed.
