VIENNA, October 22. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army is seeking to impose a transport blockade on Energodar, the satellite city of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, by mining all roads leading into the city and striking all vehicles with drones, Mayor Maxim Pukhov said during an international teleconference on the Ukrainian army’s terrorist activities in the Zaporozhye Region.
"[The enemy] has attempted to create problems in the energy sector and impose a transport blockade on Energodar. In particular, they began systematically mining access roads to Energodar, using heavy-lift drones to drop mines and mine the roads. And they are still trying to take control, with strike drones, of the roads that connect us with other areas, primarily Melitopol, by hitting vehicles that use them," Pukhov said.
