MOSCOW, May 16. /TASS/. The unity of generations of veterans, demonstrated during the Victory Day Parade on Red Square in Moscow, is the pride of the whole of Russia, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a comment to Vesti.
"We've seen our heroes before. The veterans actually sat to the right and left of the president. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War and veterans of the special military operation, this unity of veterans from different generations is a reason for the pride of our entire country," he said.
Peskov noted that the Kremlin had stated from the very beginning that the parade would take place. "We said that we would pay tribute, as we always do, to this great day, Victory Day. That the head of our state will do it. And he did it, he delivered a brilliant speech on Red Square," the Kremlin spokesman said.
