Russia, Belarus stand together against sanctions in support of multipolar world — Putin

The Russian president also expressed confidence that joint efforts would further strengthen the Russian-Belarusian partnership and alliance

MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Moscow and Minsk are jointly resisting sanctions pressure and advocating the creation of a multipolar world, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State.

"Together, we are resisting sanctions pressure and working toward the establishment of a truly just multipolar world," the Russian leader said.

Putin also expressed confidence that joint efforts would further strengthen the Russian-Belarusian partnership and alliance. "We are working to promote equal and mutually beneficial integration and to improve the welfare of the citizens of Russia and Belarus," he concluded.
