MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. The Russian Federation Council at a plenary session unanimously adopted an address to the UN, international parliamentary organizations and foreign parliaments calling on them to condemn Western interference in the Russian presidential election and the promotion of terrorism and extremism during the election campaign.
"The Federation Council <…> calls on the United Nations, international parliamentary organizations and foreign parliaments to condemn the Washington-coordinated actions of Western countries aimed at interfering in the preparation and holding of the Russian presidential election, impeding the free expression of the will of Russians, as well as encouraging terrorism and extremism to destabilize the situation in Russia during the election campaign," the address said.
The senators also welcomed the positions of the world majority countries, which refused to support a statement condemning the organization of the Russian presidential election initiated by the US and its satellites.
