About 40 attempts to spoil ballots registered during presidential elections — CEC head

MOSCOW, March 21. /TASS/. A total of 41 attempts to spoil elections ballots in ballot boxes were registered during the presidential elections in Russia, Central Election Commission head Ella Pamfilova said.

"A total of 41 such actions took place at voting stations across the country," she said. "Only 41 cases. This indicates the preparedness and efficiency of all agencies, including members of election commissions."

"These were individual actions. Obviously, the offense is serious. I believe that our Investigative Committee and courts will get to the bottom of this, and everyone will get their due," the official added.
