Putin updated on destruction of Abrams tanks in special op zone — Kremlin

An Abrams tank was reported struck near the Avdeyevka sector of the line of engagement with the use of Upyr FPV drones on Sunday

MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is fully aware of recent successes of the Russian military in the special military operation zone, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"The president is getting live updates about developments on the frontline, and, certainly, the military regularly updates him about major success of [Russian] forces, and the president has all information," Peskov said, commenting on reports saying that Russian troops had destroyed US-supplied Abrams tanks.

An Abrams tank was reported struck near the Avdeyevka sector of the line of engagement with the use of Upyr FPV drones on Sunday, while the first such tank was destroyed by a drone unit commander with the call sign Rassvet (Dawn) using a Piranha FPV drone on February 26.
