DONETSK, January 15. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military has increased the number of targeted attacks on civilian infrastructure facilities in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), as well as attacks on Emergencies Ministry staff, regional public services and ambulance workers arriving to aid those affected, DPR Head Denis Pushilin announced.
"Unfortunately, we are witnessing an increase in the number of targeted attacks on civilian and critical infrastructure facilities by the Ukrainian armed forces. The worst thing is their conscious, controlled attacks on rescuers, emergency staff, ambulance crews and public services workers," the senior official said on air during a Rossiya-24 television broadcast.
Pushilin noted that the attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces affected the quality of public services provided, leading to malfunctions in water, heat, energy, and gas supply networks.
On January 12, the Ukrainian military attacked the DPR city of Gorlovka. Three power engineers were injured as a result of the shelling. Later, a Ukrainian kamikaze drone killed two doctors who had arrived to provide first aid medical assistance to the wounded power engineers and evacuate them.
