LUGANSK, November 24. /TASS/. Members of the 2nd Army Corps of the Lugansk People’s Republic’s (LPR) People’s Militia and the Akhmat special operations unit have established layered defenses near the LPR city of Svatovo, commander of the Ahmat unit and Deputy Commander of the 2nd Army Corps of LPR People’s Militia Apty Alaudinov told TASS on Thursday.

"It’s not about us losing Svatovo. Svatovo is the first line of defense and we have additional layers of defense beyond it. No one plans to give up Svatovo," he pointed out. "There is absolutely no reason to worry about it," Alaudinov added.

LPR Militia officer Andrey Marochko said earlier that Ukrainian forces planned to resume their offensive towards the cities of Svatovo and Kremennaya.
