LUGANSK, November 10. /TASS/. More than 120 civilians have been killed and 353 others injured in the Lugansk People’s Republic as a result of shellings by Ukraine’s armed forces since February 24, the LPR office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination for Issues Related to Ukraine’s War Crimes said on Thursday.
"A total of 121 people were killed and 353 were injured. As a result of the shellings, seven children were killed and twenty-eight injured," the office said on its Telegram channel.
The office also said that Ukraine’s military had fired more than 450 missiles with US MLRS HIMARS at the LPR since the start of the special military operation.
"In all, the enemy used more than 10,000 pieces of ammunition of various calibers against the LPR’s communities, including Tochka-U tactical systems (37 missiles) and US HIMARS MLRS (458 rockets), other MLRS (BM-21 Grad, BM-27 Uragan, and BM-30 Smerch - 2,607 shells), and 155-mm artillery pieces (103 shells)," the office said.
Over the past nine months, Ukrainian forces’ bombardments have damaged and destroyed more than 300 civilian infrastructure facilities, including 75 educational and 14 medical establishments.
