Ten LPR servicemen return home in prisoner swap with Kiev — ombudswoman

It is reported that they are currently undergoing rehabilitation and doctors and psychologists are currently intensively working with them

LUGANSK, October 14. /TASS/. Ten people’s militia fighters of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) returned home in a prisoner swap with Ukraine, LPR Human Rights Envoy Viktoria Serdyukova told TASS on Friday.

"The LPR and the Ukrainian side held a prisoner swap, as a result of which 10 servicemen of the LPR people’s militia returned home. They are currently undergoing rehabilitation and doctors and psychologists are currently intensively working with them," she said.

Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on October 13 that 20 Russian servicemen returned home from the Kiev-controlled territory of Ukraine as a result of prisoner swap talks. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, all of the released troops are receiving necessary psychological and medical assistance.
