Kremlin to report if conversation between Putin, Erdogan takes place

Earlier, it was reported the Turkish leader planned to hold the talks with the Russian president in the near future

MOSCOW, April 14. /TASS/. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists that the Kremlin will inform media outlets if a phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan takes place.

"If and when such a conversation happens, we will inform you immediately," the Kremlin official said.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu reported that the Turkish leader planned to hold the talks with the Russian president in the near future. According to the Turkish top diplomat, Turkey and Russia continue to maintain close contacts.
