MOSCOW, July 16. /TASS/. Preparations for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Hungary are underway, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed on Tuesday.
"The preparations for this visit are underway," Peskov said, commenting on the reports by the Hungarian media informing that the Russian leader may visit Budapest on October 30.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Hungarian daily Nepszava informed that Vladimir Putin and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban are set to hold talks in Budapest during the former's official visit. The sides aim to discuss gas deliveries and cooperation in nuclear energy.
Putin and Orban regularly hold bilateral talks. Their latest bilateral meeting took place in Moscow in September 2018.
