MOSCOW, February 23. /TASS/. A fire broke out at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Tennessee involved in manufacturing components for nuclear weapons on Wednesday, the facility’s official Twitter page reported.
The blaze started around 09:15 local time (18:15 Moscow time) in an exhaust hood of one of the buildings.
"No injuries or contaminations reported. Curfews have been lifted at the site," the facility’s statement said.
According to the local WVLT TV channel, about 200 employees were evacuated.
