Russian financial messaging system having 557 participants — Central Bank

The Bank of Russia launched the System for Transfer of Financial Messages in 2014

MOSCOW, January 16. /TASS/. The System for Transfer of Financial Messages of the Bank of Russia, a Russian analog of SWIFT, comprises 557 participants from twenty countries for the time being, according to the presentation of First Deputy Governor of the Central Bank Vladimir Chistyukhin.

In total, 557 banks and companies established connections to the System, including 159 nonresidents from twenty countries, according to the presentation.

The Bank of Russia launched the System for Transfer of Financial Messages in 2014.
