MOSCOW, January 11. /TASS/. Major Russian automaker Avtovaz plans to deliver 100,000 Lada automobiles in 2024 under government procurement orders, CEO Maxim Sokolov said.
"I am confident that more than 100,000 [units] will be shipped under the government order during this year," Sokolov noted.
The Russian Finance Ministry has already placed an order for delivery of Lada Aura executive sedans in 2024, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said earlier. The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT) also plans to purchase Lada Aura cars on a staggered basis for its needs, Deputy Prime Minister and MIT head Denis Manturov told TASS earlier.
