Nine documents inked following Russian PM’s visit to Tajikistan

Moscow and Dushanbe also agreed on mutual use of electronic systems for certification of origin of goods, as well as approved the agreement on mutual recognition of academic degrees and ranks

DUSHANBE, March 3. /TASS/. Representatives of Russia and Tajikistan have signed nine documents on cooperation strengthening. The signing ceremony was held following the visit of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to the republic.

In particular, an agreement between finance ministries on providing Tajikistan with non-repayable technological support for development and improvement of the tax administration system was greenlighted. Moreover, agreements were signed on cooperation in healthcare, medical education and science, on partnership in the area of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.

Moscow and Dushanbe also agreed on mutual use of electronic systems for certification of origin of goods, as well as approved the agreement on mutual recognition of academic degrees and ranks.

Among the documents inked were also the program on sports cooperation for 2023-2025, a roadmap for tourism development and other documents.
