TASHKENT, January 26. /TASS/. Uzbekistan and Russia are holding consultations on Russian gas supplies to the country and the decision will be made to that effect if the fuel price agreement is reached, Energy Minister of Uzbekistan Jo'rabek Mirzamahmudov said on Thursday.
"We will study technical conditions, and then, based on technical capabilities, we will consider gas import from Russia if we come to terms on commercial prices," the Minister said on the sidelines of the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan business forum held in Bishkek.
On January 24, Chief Executive Officer of Gazprom Aleksey Miller and Energy Minister of Uzbekistan Jo'rabek Mirzamahmudov signed a plan on cooperation in the gas sphere.
