BERLIN, June 7. /TASS/. Deutsche Bank has transferred several hundreds of their IT specialists working in Russia to Berlin, Handelsblatt newspaper reported, citing its sources.
Several hundreds of about 1,500 programmers working in the Technology Center of Deutsche Bank arrived at Germany, the newspaper said. The bank offered jobs in Germany to all employees of the Technology Center in Russia. The financial institute refused to comment on this news report, the newspaper said.
The number of Russian employees relocating to the new Technology Center of the bank in Berlin can grow further, the newspaper added.
The Technology Center of Deutsche Bank has representative offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The bank announced that it winds down its remaining business in Russia in March 2022 amid developments in Ukraine.
