Rostec to take part in Venezuela’s energy security projects

Rostec and Venezuela’s Corpoelec plan to implement joint products in digital technologies, technical support, supplies of required equipment, training and professional certification of Venezuelan specialists

MOSCOW, August 3. /TASS/. Rostec and Venezuela’s Corpoelec agreed to implement joint projects in the power infrastructure security sphere, the Russian state-run corporation said on Tuesday.

"To support comprehensive security of the national power system of Venezuela, the parties plan to implement joint products in digital technologies, technical support, supplies of required equipment, training and professional certification of Venezuelan specialists," Rostec said.

Venezuela is interested in the first instance in automated systems of processes and emergencies control, operational monitoring and data flows management, the company noted.

Corpoelec specializes in power generation, transmission, distribution and sales in Venezuela.
