MINSK, February 7. /TASS/. Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said on Sunday he expects Russia to draft an international agreement on a common gas market within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) soon.
"The EAEU heads of state passed a decision on the integration development strategy till the year 2025 at a Supreme Council meeting. Now, in line with the instructions from the Eurasian Economic Commission, Russia is drafting an international agreement on a common gas market," he said in an interview with the Belarus-1 television channel.
He recalled that the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council that met in Kazakhstan on February 5 called for accelerating this work. "The Russian colleagues are taking it with understanding. So, I think we will soon proceed to work on the draft agreement on the gas market," he said.
