MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Leader of the PARNAS Party Mikail Kasyanov, who led the march in memory of Boris Nemtsov, was attacked in Moscow, TASS correspondent reported from the site on Sunday.

An unidentified person rushed to Kasyanov and splashed in his face medicine, which is bright-green in color.

The march would not begin, as the organizers demand the police allowed them expose an opposition slogan. The event to remember Boris Nemtsov was agreed with the Moscow authorities.

According to the Moscow police, about 5,000 people took part in the march. A TASS correspondent reported from the site that the march is over, with several dozens of people still staying on the traffic way. Policemen are asking them to move to the pavement to clear the road for traffic.

According to a police spokesman, no serious incidents were reported during the march.

Boris Nemtsov, a former deputy prime minister under the then President, Boris Yeltsin, co-chairman of the Parnas party and a lawmaker of the Yaroslavl regional legislature, was gunned down in the center of Moscow on February 27, 2015. Five persons were arrested on suspicion of murdering the politician. In 2015 and 2016, the opposition marked the date by mourning marches.
