MOSCOW, April 19. /TASS/. The cost of Brent crude oil futures contracts deliverable in June 2018 rose by 1%, to $74.23 per barrel in the course of trading on the ICE Exchange in London, according to its data.

The last time this blend’s price hit $74 per barrel was on November 27, 2014.

Despite the hike in oil prices, the ruble rate remains low against key global currencies.

As of 11:10 Moscow time, the dollar-to-ruble rate on the Moscow Stock Exchange was 60.99 rubles, which is 0.23% up from the closure of the previous day’s trading session. The euro rate was 75.52 rubles, which is 0.32% higher than the previous closure.
