MOSCOW, December 31. /TASS/. More than 147,000 Russians have been called up for compulsory military service during this autumn campaign, the Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
"The autumn 2015 draft of citizens for the military service is over," the ministry said, adding that 392 citizens were assigned to alternative civil service.
"The task set by the Russian presidential decree has been implemented in full," it said.
More than 1,000 conscripts were drafted in the Russian armed forces in Crimea and Sevastopol.
