DONETSK, October 8. /TASS/. The self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic government on Wednesday denied reports on Alexander Zakharchenko’s resignation.

“This is a fake,” the government’s press service told TASS.

Earlier, Russia’s weekly magazine Expert released an interview with the DPR premier.

According to TASS reports, Zakharchenko filed documents to the DPR central election commission to run for prime minister.

The elections in the Donetsk People’s Republic are scheduled for November 2. However, the chairman of the election commission of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) asked the parliament, the Supreme Council, to put off the elections for one week to November 9.
