NEW YORK, October 22. /TASS/. US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is optimistic after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, US Vice President JD Vance said.

"I think Steve re-engaged in the process. Obviously, spoke with both the Russian and Ukrainian leadership over the past couple of days. He feels optimistic," he told reporters in Cincinnati, Ohio.
