MINSK, October 22. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump is paying attention to relations with Belarus, and progress has been made on many issues, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko stated.

"I must say that things are not easy for the US administration right now. There is plenty of work to be done. But I greatly appreciate that Donald Trump and his team are paying attention to our relations. There has been progress on many issues," the BelTA news agency quoted him as saying.

On Thursday, Lukashenko will receive a report on the results of the negotiation process with the US.
