According to Marco Rubio, the Trump administration did not sanction restrictions on Starshield operations in Ukraine

WASHINGTON, October 21. /TASS/. Ukraine would not exist without Washington’s assistance, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters.

"If it were not for the assistance of the United States, including under the Trump administration, there would be no Ukraine right now. Ukraine as a sovereign state would not exist," Bloomberg quoted Rubio as saying during a visit to India.

This is how the top US diplomat commented on a Wall Street Journal report the SpaceX CEO Elon Musk was allegedly behind the restrictions on Starshield operations in Ukraine. According to Rubio, the Trump administration did not sanction such restrictions.

Ukraine’s budget has had a record deficit for several years now. The state’s profits only cover the military provisions of the budget; the rest is financed by the West. Kiev currently acknowledges that the country has completely depleted its resources for financing military needs, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find funding.
