UNITED NATIONS, October 1. /TASS/. The Iranian delegation to the UN General Assembly High-Level Week left New York on Monday evening as originally scheduled, the country’s mission to the United Nations said.

The Axios news portal reported earlier, citing its sources, the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio demanded on Monday that the Iranian delegation leave immediately after bilateral settlement talks stalled.

"The Iranian delegation left New York on Monday evening, in accordance with the schedule that had also been communicated to the U.S. Department of State in advance on September 17. Having achieved nothing, the State Department has resorted to propagating baseless and worthless news," it wrote on X.
