CHISINAU, March 26. /TASS/. Supporters of Yevgenia Gutul, the head of the autonomous region of Gagauzia in Moldova who was detained late on Tuesday, are gathering outside the office of the National Anti-Corruption Center where she is supposed to be taken after being detained at Chisinau Airport.
A TASS correspondent reported that Gutul left the airport in a service vehicle shortly after her detention.
The National Anti-Corruption Center said she was detained for 72 hours as part of a criminal investigation, adding that details will be published on Wednesday.
Gutul’s press service told TASS she was on the way to Turkey, where she was planned to hold a number of meetings and visit a doctor.
