CAIRO, March 25. /TASS/. The number of Palestinians killed since the resumption of hostilities in the Gaza Strip on March 18 is approaching 800, said the enclave's Health Ministry.
"The death toll in Gaza has increased to 792 since March 18, 2025, while another 1,663 people have been injured," according to a report published on the agency's telegram channel.
The Health Ministry added that the total number of Palestinian deaths since October 2023 has increased to 50,144, and the number of injured to 113,704.
On March 18, the Israeli army resumed fighting in the Gaza Strip, launching massive strikes on the enclave thus interrupting a ceasefire established in January. Israel explained this by the rejection of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas of the proposals put forward at the talks by mediators and US special envoy Steven Witkoff. The purpose of the operation in the strip is the release of all hostages, it said. The radicals blamed Israel and the United States for the resumption of hostilities.
