PRAGUE, January 21. /TASS/. Slovakia is not involved in the Ukrainian conflict and seeks peace, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said following talks with his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban.

"The war in Ukraine is not our war," he said. "We are not at war with either Russia or Ukraine. We are a peaceful country and we want a peaceful solution."

According to Fico, the Slovak opposition is gearing up to stage a Ukraine-style uprising and seize government buildings. The prime minister also said the opposition supports the idea of sending Slovak troops to Ukraine, something that he strongly opposes.
