BRATISLAVA, January 21. /TASS/. Ukraine’s accession into NATO may start a third world war, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said.
"Ukraine’s integration into NATO will become a trigger for a third world war," the Aktuality news portal quoted the premier as saying.
Fico added that his country reserves the right to criticize its EU and NATO partners. In his opinion, the European Union has been infringing upon the sovereignty of its members, for example, by promoting a certain set of values and interfering with their education systems.
In his words, Europe is currently "busy mostly with gender issues." Fico believes that his country had no plans of changing its current social policies where only heterosexual couples are allowed to adopt children, and where "a man remains a man, and a woman remains a woman."
The Slovak prime minister also criticized the West’s attitude to elections in various countries, adding that Romania and Georgia set a "disturbing example of what democrats can do when an undesired candidate wins."
