MOSCOW, December 2. /TASS/. Syria’s government army and Russia’s aerospace forces continue repelling terrorists’ aggression in Idlib, Hama, and Aleppo, killing at least 100 militants during the past day, Oleg Ignasyuk, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria (a division of the Russian defense ministry), said.
"The Syrian government army, backed by the Russian aerospace forces, continues the operation to rebuff the terrorist aggression in the Idlib, Hama, and Aleppo governorates. During the past day, missile and bomb strikes were delivered on areas of the deployment of militants and their weapons, arms and munitions depots, artillery and air defense positions, and control centers. At least 100 militants were eliminated," he said.
He also said that aircraft of the so-called international anti-terrorist coalition led by the United States continue to create dangerous situations that may cause air accidents or incidents and escalate the situation in Syria’s airspace. Thus, in his words, two pairs of the coalition’s F-15 fighter jets violated Syria’s airspace in the al-Tanf area, across which international air routes run, eight times during the day.
