GENEVA, January 9. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky may take part in the World Economic Forum (WEF), which will be held in Davos, Switzerland, from January 15 to 19, the Tages-Anzeiger reported.
According to the newspaper, the Ukrainian leader may also visit Bern. The Swiss authorities have been discussing the upcoming visit since mid-December, but there is no certainty yet whether it will take place. As the Tages-Anzeiger notes, everything will depend on the situation in Ukraine. An alternative to the visit may be Zelensky's participation in the forum via video link.
In December, Nicolas Bedeau, head of the communications service of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, informed that a meeting of national security advisers dedicated to the Ukrainian "formula for peace" would be held on January 14 in Davos. It will be co-organized by Switzerland and Ukraine.
