UAE grateful to both Russia, Ukraine for supporting mediation efforts in prisoner swap

DUBAI, January 3. /TASS/. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has thanked both Russia and Ukraine for supporting the mediation efforts in the prisoner exchange process between Moscow and Kiev, the UAE Foreign Ministry said in a statement on its website.

"The [Foreign] Ministry expressed its appreciation to the governments of Russia and Ukraine for their cooperation and response to the UAE's mediation efforts to make the exchange process a success, despite the challenges posed by the ongoing war," the statement said.
